iPhone App For USDGC?
I need to make an app to help me create images on the fly and ftp them to a certain location on our servers.
I have 18 images for the Winthrop Course and I hope to use each hole as a starting point.
Click which day it is. Thursday – Friday – Saturday – Sunday.
Click hole 1.
Graphic comes up in landscape mode.
4 colors to choose from.
Be able to zoom and pan on the graphic.
Touch once to leave a colored dot to represent where the golfer is taking their shot from.
Touch again and hold your finger on the screen to leave a dot where the golfer’s shot landed.
Drag your finger to adjust the curve of the line to show the path of the shot taken.
Let go and that line has been set.
Click button to upload to the server under a certain name. ie. hole1.jpg
Repeat with the other 3 colors and have the upload button overwrite this jpg.
When the hole is complete, back out and go to hole 2.
The program should also save the image on the phone so we can exit the app and go back when play resumes.
Wishlist:
- I would also love to have a feature that archives the image into a folder on the server depending on the day it is when archived. Since there are 4 days. And maybe more than 1 group since it will be so damn easy!
- Tie a photo to a dot so when clicked on it pulls up the photo.
After this is complete, we will need a web application that displays the correct jpg and auto refreshes the jpg and clears the cache every 30 seconds.
